She started dreaming of becoming a model while attending grade school, as she and her friends often read girls’ magazines and watched movies on TV, and it wasn’t until she turned 13 that Erin became interested in comedy and made her friends and family laugh to make. . Not long after, she was introduced to jokes and challenges and making people uncomfortable (in a comedic way), which later motivated her to work on her YouTube channel.
Erin graduated from high school in 2009and then chose not to go to college, instead focusing on her career on the internet – she also found a job to support herself financially as she worked her way up the ladder.
Erin gained recognition after she and her friend Carly Incontro launched their YouTube channel “Carly and Erin” on September 6, 2015, which today has more than 1.33 million subscribers and all of their videos combined have more than 255 million views. The girls usually upload three new videos every week, and are mainly focused on uploading comedy content, but what has really made them popular on YouTube is their “Vining and Driving” series, where they call former Vine stars while driving a car – their currently most popular video “DAVIDS FIRST TIME AT STARBUCKS!!” has been viewed more than 5.3 million times as of May 4, 2019.
Erin also has her own channel which she launched years earlier on April 8, 2009, but she only started uploading content when she and Carly’s joint channel made her popular – her solo channel is subscribed to 160,000 people and counts over eight million views of all her videos combined.
