He released his first extended play (EP) on January 19, 2014, titled “Purple Thoughtz Vol. 1″, and his debut mixtape “The Real Uzi” followed on August 5, 2014 after choosing Lil Uzi Vert as his stage name. His mixtape “Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World” was released on April 15, 2016 and peaked at #37 on the Billboard 200, its first time on the chart. He released the video for his single “Money Longer” in 2016, which went double platinum in The United States.
On July 31, 2016 – his birthday – he released his “The Perfect Luv Tape” mixtape, followed by his “Luv Is Rage 1.5” mixtape on February 27, 2017. His debut album “Luv Is Rage 2”, which was announced and many times postponed, was finally released on August 25, 2017 and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
