Robert Niedermayer began his junior hockey career with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League in 1990. He has 24 goals and 26 assists this season. After the season, he had two seasons with the club, scoring 32 and 43 points. He was elected to the National Hockey League in 1993 by the Florida Panthers. He has 9 goals and 17 assists during the season. Moving forward, in 1995, he posted a career-best 82 goals and 26 assists in the NHL.
