She became interested in dancing at a very young age and was five when she started dancing ballet. She attended a local high school where she practiced acting and played the piano at entrance examination in 1975Sheryl decided not to go to college but to focus on her career as a ballerina.
Sheryl’s career
Not long after her matriculation exam, Sheryl started working as a ballet instructor and as a choreographer, while launching her acting career in the same year, at the age of 18.
She played a dancer (uncredited) in the horror musical film “Alice Cooper: The Nightmare”, written by Tony Hudz and Alan Rudolph, directed by Jorn H. Winther and starring her future husband Alice, Vincent Price and Linda Googh – as follows from Alice Cooper’s music characters, Steven who finds himself in a surreal dream fantasy.
In the same year, Sheryl played Ethyl in “Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare (Concert Feature)”, and then in 1978 played a dancer in the adventure fantasy comedy film ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, but which received mostly poor reviews. Three of her other roles were in the 1979 movie “The Strange Case of Alice Cooper”, the 1980 comedy musical “Roadie”, and the short video “Kane Roberts Feat . Alice Cooper & Alissa White-Gluz: Beginning of the End”.

Sheryl met Alice in 1975, when she started dancing in his music videos, and they started dating not long after. After being together for about a year, Alice and Sheryl got married on March 20, 1976 in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family, but after seven years of being together, Sheryl has filed for divorce due to Alice’s alcoholism. However, they managed to reconcile in less than a year, and today they are the parents of their two daughters Calico and Sonora, and their son Dashiell.
Sheryl hasn’t talked about other men she may have been with, but Alice is known to have had a number of relationships before he started dating Alice – he was 28 at the time while Alice was 19.

Who is Alice Cooper?
Vincent Damon Furnier, better known by his stage name Alice Cooper, was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, on February 4, 1948 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius and he is an American national. He is known as ‘The Godfather of Shock Rock’ as he gained popularity with the song “I’m Eighteen”, released in 1971, by his band Alice Cooper.
He grew up in Detroit, where he was raised by his father Ether Moroni Furnier and mother Ella Mae, while the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona at age 12 because of his illness. Alice attended Cortez High School, where he became interested in music and dreamed of selling a million albums. When he was 16, his band The Earwigs, which he formed with four other boys, entered the school’s talent show.
They won the show and decided to become a real band by renaming themselves The Spiders, eventually changing the name to Alice Cooper. At the time, the main members were Alice, Glen Buxton on lead guitar, Dennis Dunaway on bass, Michael Bruce on rhythm guitar and Neal Smith on drums.
The boys eventually signed a three-album contract with Frank Zappa’s Straight Records their debut album “Pretties for You” came out in 1969 while gaining popularity mainly because of a new subgenre they created called ‘shock rock’ – the term was coined by fans after Alice threw a live chicken into the audience which they then tore to pieces (the papers wrote about Alice being the chicken’s head on stage and drinking its blood).
Their second album, Easy Action, was released in June 1970, while their third album, Love It to Death, followed in March 1971, and their fourth album, Killer, later that year.
The band broke up four years later, but Alice then took Alice Cooper as his real name and launched his solo career with the release of his concept album “Welcome to My Nightmare”. He went on to release many albums and signed a contract with Epic Records in 1988 – a year later he became famous all over the world after his hit single “Poison” was released, peaking at #2 in the UK and #7 in the US . By 1992, Alice had released 19 studio albums, then stopped releasing them, instead focusing on his other works – his 21st solo album will be released on February 26, 2021, titled “Detroit Stories”.
He has been nominated for 38 awards for his music and won 30 – he has also been nominated for five Grammy Awards.
In 1986, Alice noticed that the members of the band Megadeth had problems with drug and alcohol abuse, and she set out to help them overcome their addictions, having previously overcome his own addiction to alcohol.
He is also a writer and released his autobiography “Alice Cooper, Golf Monster” in 2007.
He is a huge fan of American hockey and cheers for Arizona Coyotes who compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) – Alice is also a fan of baseball and supports both the Detroit Tigers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is also an avid golfer.
