We took a look at what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 could look like in a series of unofficial renders last month, but now we’ve leaked images of what appears to be the physical device. divided by YouTuber TechTalkTV (through 9to5Google† The images match the previous renders and give us a glimpse into the device’s screen crease, which looks almost untouched.

One image shows the screen of the device when it’s flipped open, and you can see a slight glare where the crease would normally appear. It barely looks, but again, it’s a little hard to tell what the fold will look like if you look at it from just one angle.

You can see the fold of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 quite clearly if you tilt the phone correctly. As The edgeDeputy editor Dan Seifert noted in his review of the phone, “It’s not a problem with normal use,” and it’s easy to forget once you get used to the device. Rumors abound about Samsung to further improve the fold in the upcoming phone, but we’ll probably have to wait until we get our hands on the device to see just how prominent the fold really is.

Like the renders, the leaked photos of the ostensible Galaxy Z Flip 4 show a device very similar to its predecessor, with a two-tone color scheme, dual cameras and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Although the hinge appears slightly thinner, there is still a small gap between the two sides of the device when folded.

TechTalkTV’s source expects the device to come with the same 12MP main and ultra-wide cameras and a 10MP selfie camera, which is a bit disappointing if true – one of the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s biggest weaknesses. was the camera quality. The source also says that the upcoming device could come with a larger 3700mAh battery and an improved 25W fast charging capability.

Samsung is likely to unveil both the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and its horizontally folding counterpart, the Z Fold 4, in August.
