Charlie Munger was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on January 1, 1924. His parents, Alfred C. Munger and Florence Munger, gave birth to him. He attended school in Omaha before moving to Michigan to continue his education.
He attended the University of Michigan after moving to Michigan. There he chose mathematics as his major. He left college and enlisted in the US Army Air Corps, where he rose to the rank of second lieutenant.
Charlie then enrolled at the California Institute of Technology to continue his meteorology studies. After enrolling at Harvard Law School, he soon earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors. He attended the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau as a student.
