Ian has only had one role in films – in “Simon Birch” – and has been focused on educating himself ever since. Since 2016, he has been a board member of Project Alloy, building a tech community.

Early life and education

Ian was raised in Elmhurst as an only child by his father Steve, who was a taxi driver, and his mother, who was a housewife. Shortly after his birth, it was discovered that Ian suffers from Morquio syndrome, which results in dwarfism.

At the age of nine, a film scout found him and suggested to Harvey Weinstein that he be cast as Kevin the comedy movie “The Mighty”However, Harvey decided not to let Ian appear in the film, as he was too young, but later suggested Ian for another film, eventually appearing in “Simon Birch”.

In June 2009, he joined Rosetta Stone as their intern, but only spent three months with them, after which he started working in May 2011 as a contractor with ANCILE Solutions, Inc. stay with them for four months.
