She attended Foothill High School, where she played with the school’s baseball and softball teams; she was a starter during her four years in school, mostly at third base.

In 2018, he was traded to the Houston Astros, where he struckout 12 batters to set the record for the team; during that game, he struckout 16 players, allowing only one hit. Amy met Gerrit while they were both studying at UCLA. Since they were both involved in athletic teams and baseball, the two became close as they often visited the college weight room. After being friends for a year, the two started dating and have been together ever since. In 2016, the two married in a ceremony in Newport Beach, California, attended by friends and families – four years later they announced her pregnancy. Although she hasn’t played baseball for a while, she still shows a lot of skills on a competitive level, as recorded by her husband on multiple occasions.
