Hansi Flick is one of the club’s best coaches in its history
When Germany won the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Flick was Low’s assistant. He returned to the club in August 2021 after spending a year and a half with Bayern Munich. Flick managed to make the Cubs the most successful club in a short time with Munich. Flick was an assistant coach for Munich for the 2018-2019 season until the club fired Niko Kovac and temporarily coached him in November 2019. He was elevated to head coach the following month.
