TSM slowly got more players, not only in League of Legends (LoL), but also in other popular games with competitive scenes. They sponsored competitors in “Hearthstone”, “Fortnite”, “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” and “Apex Legends† They quickly settled into new territory, prioritizing newer games as opposed to those with an established player base.
This was partly because it proved difficult to compete in established games like “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”, “Rainbow Six Siege” and “DotA 2”, which already had many competitors, other eSports companies with teams in them.
