For now, numerous sources claim that Lisa died of cardiac arrest. According to TMZ insiders, the Now What singer complained of abdominal pain on Thursday morning. Apparently it had gotten more and more intense. She had experienced it since her participation in the Golden Globe Awards in 2022.

However, an autopsy report or the official cause of death is still pending. Until further updates, a heart attack was the leading speculation or assumption as the cause of Lisa’s death. In fact, it was in her genetics, so her father, Elvis, and her paternal grandmother also both lost their lives to heart attacks at the young ages of 42 and 46 respectively.

Meanwhile, the Dirty Laundry singer’s ex-husband, Danny Keough with whom she was living at the time, performed CPR until the arrival of paramedics.

Medical aid arrived about six minutes later. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that the EMTs performed CPR and “discovered that the Tennessee-born singer was showing signs of life.” They repaired her wrist and rushed her to the hospital.

Initially, Lisa’s name was kept anonymous due to privacy laws. According to paramedics, Lisa arrived at a local hospital called West Hills at 11:47 a.m.

Then the doctors I immediately put her on a ventilator, in an induced coma next to a temporary peacemaker. TMZ was the first to announce Lisa’s hospitalization, after which The People Magazine gave an additional confirmation.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the terrible news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.

Priscilla also asked for privacy and thanked everyone for their love and prayers. She also said there would be no comment.
