FMCG Major Nest India on Wednesday announced an interim dividend of Rs 27 for 2023 for the entire issued share capital. The company’s board of directors approved in a meeting on Wednesday “an interim dividend of Rs 27 per share of Rs 10 each for the year 2023 on the company’s entire issued, subscribed and paid-up share capital of 9.64, 15,716 shares with a face value of Rs 10 each,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
Nest In India, which follows the January-December calendar year by fiscal year, the interim dividend for 2023 will be paid on and from 8 May 2023, together with the final dividend for the year 2022, if approved by the members on the 64th Annual general meeting scheduled for April 12, 2023.
It has set April 21, 2023 as the record date to determine shareholders’ eligibility for payment of said interim dividend.
Nestle India is set to report its March quarter results on April 25, 2023.
On October 31, 2022, Nestlé India announced a second interim dividend of Rs 120 and a final dividend of Rs 65 on April 21, 2022.
Shares of Nestle India traded at Rs 19,401.40
