German electronic manufacturing company Hama enters the Indian market

German manufacturer of electronic accessories Hama announced its entry into the Indian market on Monday by establishing partnerships with key distributors, retailers and e-commerce giants in the country.

Hama, a manufacturer in various categories such as gaming, computers, mobility, photo, video, audio and multimedia, has signed pacts with Supertron Electronics Pvt Ltd., Creative Newtech Ltd and Limonics Distribution for pan-Indian distribution.

It also partners with e-tailers such as Amazon and retailers such as Croma and Apple Premium resellers like Maple to reach millions of users in the country.

“Soon we will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in the electronic accessories industry, and there is no better way to celebrate our celebrations than by launching in India,” said Priyam G Agrawal, Country Head, Hama.

The company, which has a turnover of more than 550 million euros, entered India earlier this year and plans to launch more than 300 products with the promise of top German quality at an affordable price.

With more than 18,000 products, Hama offers a diverse range in more than 70 countries.

Accessories include gaming mice and headphones, multi-port hubs, multi-device wireless mice, mobile accessories, including Apple-certified accessories for iPhones and iPadsHDMI cables, binoculars, camera trolley bags and tripods.

“Hama is committed to serving the Indian consumer with the same determination, dedication and service it has been providing to the German and European markets for over 99 years,” said Agrawal.
