This comes shortly after Ather announced the Ather 450X Gen 3, an upgraded version of its premium electric scooter. TVS, one of the existing market leaders, has also started shipping the iQube S electric scooter, which offers many options to choose from.

Performance is one area where all three scooters perform well.

Starting with the Ather 450X Gen 3, it is equipped with a 6.2 kW PMS motor that develops a maximum torque of 26 Nm. It has a top speed of 80 km/h and can go from 0 to 40 in just 3.3 seconds.

The Ola S1, despite being the cheapest of the lot, is quite powerful. It is equipped with an 8.5 kW motor that can develop a torque of 58 Nm. It reaches a top speed of 95 km per hour and goes from 0 to 40 in just 3.8 seconds.

The TVS iQube S is equipped with a 4.4 kW motor that can develop a torque of 33 Nm. It reaches a top speed of 78 km per hour and goes from 0 to 40 in 4.2 seconds.

If you’re looking for the fastest electric scooter, the Ola S1 seems to be the clear winner in this segment with a powerful engine and high top speed.

Ather has significantly improved range with its new Gen 3 scooters. The Ather 450X with a 3.7 kWh battery now offers a range of 105 km on a single charge.

Ola, on the other hand, has claimed an extended range of 128 km on a single charge with a 3 kWh battery pack. The TVS iQube S is powered by a 3.04 kWh battery pack and reportedly offers a range of 100 km on a single charge.

Ola has claimed higher range on the S1, despite having a smaller battery pack compared to the Ather 450X.

Charging time is another important statistic as you need to charge your vehicle regularly. The Ather 450X can be fully charged at home in 5 hours and 40 minutes.

The Ola S1 is fully charged at home in 5 hours.

It takes the longest for the TVS iQube S to be fully charged. You must wait 6 hours to fully charge the iQube S in your home.

At the end of the day, all three scooters offer good features and value. The Ather 450X Gen 3 comes at a premium price and offers a reliable experience, as Ather is the oldest EV maker of the three.

The Ola S1 and TVS iQube S are both good options that offer good range and are packed with features. If you’re looking for a reliable scooter and willing to pay a premium, we recommend going for the Ather 450x Gen 3. If not, you can select the Ola S1 or the TVS iQube.
