Adanic Green energy received preliminary approvals for two wind energy projects in the Northern Province for an investment of more than $500 million, Sri Lanka Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekara has announced.
Wijesekara said in a tweet that officials ofCeylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Sustainable Development Authority on Tuesday to discuss progress on renewable energy projects.

“21 of the 46 projects delayed due to CEB law changes will enter into PP agreements next week. 26 Renewable proposals from EOIs that have received preliminary approvals to accelerate with grid clean-up and transmission plans and other proposals to be completed within 30 days should be evaluated,” the minister said in another tweet.
